Painting Naming Contest!

Please email all entries per the instructions below. As of 8/9/2007 entries to the contest by way of comments will not be counted unless they are accompanied by the required email. Thanks!

Hello everyone!

This is the first art giveaway I will be doing through my website,

This contest entry is naming a painting that I recently finished. There are rules to the contest, however there are no guidelines to the painting name.

The winning name will recieve a free acrylic on canvas painting courtesy of myself.  Five runner up names will receive 50% off any of my paintings on the website.

It is called "The Sea #6". It measures approximately 9" x 12" and has a dark pine wood frame. This is the prize  painting that you will win if your name is chosen. The tree painting at the bottom is the one to be named.

Now for the naming contest. Here are the rules.
1. Contest runs until the end of August, midnight.
2. Entries must be emailed to ngibbs@defineart.com.
3. The subject line must read "contest entry".
4. You must include your first and last name, valid contact phone number, and city and state that you live.
5. Contest is only open to U.S. residents ages 18 and older.
6. The body of the email must contain name of painting, and information requested below.

The winner will be announced on the blog site and Define Art website no later than September 8th, 2007. The winner will be contacted via the phone number given.

If you live within the greater Orange County, Los Angeles or San Diego area, we can arrange pickup/delivery of the prize painting. Outside of that area winner will pay shipping charges (max $30).

Here is the painting to be named:

Be creative, and include a short description on what made you think of the name. I am excited and I hope to get many entries!
